Multani soil (মুলতানি মাটি) (মুলতানি মাটি) মুলতানি মাটি হলো বিশেষ একধরণের কাদা মাটি যা পৃথিবীর সব জায়গায় পাওয়া যায় না। কিছু কিছু জায়গায় প্রাকৃতিক ভাবেই সৃষ্টি হয় এই মাটি। বৈজ্ঞানিকভাবে মুলতানি মাটি ক্যালসিয়াম বেনটোনাইট নামে পরিচিত। এর উৎপত্তি স্থল পাকিস্তানের মুলতান অঞ্চলে। তাই এর নাম করণ করা হয়েছে মুলতানি মাটি। এটি কোনো সাধারণ মাটি নয় এটিতে রয়েছে ম্যাগনেসিয়াম, ক্যালসিয়াম এবং আয়রন এর মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ খনিজ উপাদান। এই খনিজ গুলোর উপস্থিতির কারণেই এটি মূল্যবান পদার্থ হিসেবে পরিচিত লাভ করে। এর ব্যবহারে মিলবে অনেক উপকারিতা তাই আপনাকে জানতে হবে এর সঠিক ব্যবহার। আমরা এখন আলোচনা করবো এর উপকারিতা এবং ব্যবহার বিধি নিয়ে।

ত্বকের তৈলাক্ত ভাব দূর করতে মুলতানি মাটির সঙ্গে গোলাপ জল মিশিয়ে পেস্ট তৈরি করে ত্বকে লাগিয়ে দিন। শুকিয়ে গেলে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। এবং শুষ্ক ত্বকের জন্য মুলতানি মাটির সঙ্গে সামান্য দুধ যুক্ত করতে পারেন।
আপানার মুখের ব্রণ ও ব্রণের দাগ দূর করতে নিম পাতার পেস্ট এর সাথে মুলতানি মাটি মিশিয়ে ১০ থেকে ১৫ রেখে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। এটি সপ্তাহে ৪ দিন চাইলে প্রতিদিন ব্যবহার করতে পারেন।
হাত এবং পায়ের রং উজ্জ্বল করতে মুলতানি মাটির সাথে বেসন ও কাঁচা হলুদের পেস্ট মিশিয়ে হাত এবং পায়ে লাগিয়ে দিন। শুকিয়ে গেলে ধুয়ে ফেলুন।
চোখের চারপাশের কালো ছোপ দূর করতে মুলতানি মাটির সঙ্গে হলুদ ও টমেটোর রস মিশিয়ে চোখের চারপাশে লাগান।
